David Simpson is a Northwest Florida native, having been born in Pensacola, Florida. As the managing partner of the Simpson Law Firm, he has operated and exclusively maintained a negligence injury practice since 1975. He is admitted to the Florida Bar, the Northern District of Florida and the Federal District Court Middle District of Florida. He is a Cumberland Law School graduate, Class of 1975 with Honors as a Proctor in Admiralty. His undergraduate training consisted of a B.A. Degree from Auburn University in 1972, majoring in Political Science with a minor in English. David limits his practice to the area of Personal Injury which comprises approximately of 75% of his time. He also is active in the field of Medical Malpractice which encompasses about 15% of his practice. Business Litigation and Employment Law take up the final 10% of his expertise. David is a member of the Academy of Florida Justice Association and has taught seminars with the Okaloosa County Bar Association and a program identified as the People’s Law School. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Christian Legal Society known as CLS, from 1998 - 2008. He also serves as the safety officer for the Emerald Coast Cyclist Club in Ft. Walton Beach. He is a member of ODK and Pi Kappa Phi National Fraternity. He is a former member of the American Bar Association and has previously been Board Certified with the Florida Bar as a Civil Trial Attorney and has been recognized by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate.
